CUBS
Cubs is for youth aged 8 to 10½ years of age. Our Cubs meet on Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm hrs at the St. Chads Scout Den.
Cubs offer opportunities for youth to experience, experiment, and explore. There are outdoor adventures like camping, bushwalking, outdoor cooking, sailing, expeditions and helping your community. You learn traditional Scout skills such as tying knots and using a compass to find your way around.
Our Cubs also visit exciting places, play cool games, help others to ‘do their best’ and learn what to do in an emergency. There are badges to earn, including the Cub Award Badges and Personal interest badges.
If your child would like to become a Cub, they can attend three sessions as a Visitor without any cost or commitment.

CUBS BADGES
The Cub Award Scheme is designed to help you plan your Scouting experiences around a variety of different activities.
While badges are fun to earn, it’s important to remember that they recognise your progression, they aren’t the goal itself. Having fun and taking part in the programme is the most important part!
